Boarding school ‘Troitskoe' is located 45 kilometers from Odessa . It is a home to 20 children aged 4-16. In common with many other institutions, the boarding school appears neat but is in fact very out of date and in need of repair. Uneven and cracked walls, old wooden windows with damaged glass and doors that do not close are all part of the interior.

Due to small size of this institution, the children are very friendly and familiar with each other. The staff are very attentive and the newly appointed director is well respected by the kids. However, the children need a lot more. They need to develop in fair living conditions.

The site of the boarding school ‘Troitskoe' is not big. Therefore, the children have little outdoor space, and only one playroom and television inside the building. Not only do the kids not have a field to run and play on, they do not even have basic sports equipment. During vacation and warm seasons, this is very evident and sad to look at as the children sit on chopped off tree trunks looking for something to do.

This particular boarding school is looking to replace windows, doors and beds. The director has made a special request for a playground before all other needs. She believes the children will benefit the most from such an installation.

Odessa Children's Charity hopes to look into this institution's needs as soon as there are funds to do so.
